Artwork

If you wish to supply the artwork yourself, it, as with the photographic input, should be of a high quality.

Of course, there is no reason why you should not supply all the graphic/textual material for your site, should you wish to do so.  You are, after all, paying for the finished article.

The area to watch is the size and resolution of the graphics. It should be noted that very large graphics take forever to load, and your potential customers will get itchy feet, waiting.

This is very often overcome by the use of "thumbnail" pictures which load very quickly. These "thumbnails" can be hyperlinked to the larger pictures, leaving the choice to the viewer.
